Tour of the "Lady"
The tour of our amazing Alma Mater was wonderful, thanks in no small part to the Student Council members who served as our guides.. We toured the new Arts Building (amazing), the Main Building and wound up at the beautiful new EPHS Alumni Museum.
The Arts Building is State of the Art. We didn't take many photos there, but rest assured all of the rooms are huge. The Band Room is as large as the Orchestra Room (pictured). There are many sound proof practice rooms for up to 4 people. There are individual classrooms for Piano (about 30 pianos), Guitar (30 - 40 guitars), Choir with risers and earphones so performers can hear themselves sing. There is also an Art Classroom, very large. All in all, the building is complete enough to make EPHS a performing arts school.
Not everyone can say they went to one of the Top Ten Most Beautiful High Schools in America, but we did! Others can only wish they did. El Paso High and its stadium are consistently at the top of national lists for their beauty and location. Mr. Trost did a wonderful job.
